Our founder began as a mechanical engineer designing HVAC and plumbing systems from the ground up. Daily work included load calculations, equipment selection, duct and pipe sizing, BIM modeling, and trade coordination. Years spent producing construction documents revealed a recurring issue. Systems designed in isolation pushed conflicts into the field. TRW Design was built to close that gap. HVAC and plumbing remain our core disciplines, supported by full system coordination across architecture, structure, and all MEP trades. Models serve as a reliable source of truth and meet a level of accuracy suitable for construction use. Teams plan, sequence, and build with confidence instead of reacting onsite. Founded in New Hampshire and working across New England, TRW Design continues to grow with multiple licensed Professional Engineers on staff. Growth supports larger projects while preserving direct engineer involvement and accountability. TRW Design also invests in the profession beyond project work. Leadership holds board positions within ASHRAE and remains actively involved in the ACE Mentor Program of New Hampshire. This work supports mentorship, education, and exposure to real world engineering for the next generation of AEC professionals. Internally, TRW Design is building a home for entrepreneurial engineers. Team members develop technical skill, take ownership of their work, and grow long term careers. Mentorship and knowledge transfer remain core responsibilities, not side efforts.
